User Story NameAutomatic Microsoft Teams Alerts for Upcoming Go-Live Dates
Overview

A new automated alert functionality has been implemented to notify teams via Microsoft Teams when a project’s Go-Live date is approaching within a defined number of days.

This feature continuously monitors project Go-Live dates and sends configurable alerts through Microsoft Teams when the milestone is near. The goal is to provide early visibility into upcoming deadlines so teams can anticipate risks, improve coordination, and ensure all required activities are completed on time.

How to Use it
  1. Ensure that the Go-Live date is correctly populated in the project record.
  2. The system will automatically evaluate upcoming Go-Live dates on a scheduled basis.
  3. When a project’s Go-Live date falls within the configured alert threshold (e.g., fewer than X days remaining), a notification will be sent via Microsoft Teams to the relevant users or channels.
  4. Upon receiving the alert in Teams, project teams should:
    • Review pending tasks and deliverables
    • Confirm readiness of resources and environments
    • Address any risks that could impact the launch
