User Story NameOPT - Case Management Overview Dashboard
OverviewA new panel, OPT - Case Management Overview, is now available for Dynamics 365 dashboards. It provides a real-time, self-contained executive view of all active cases directly within the platform — no exports, no external tools required. Data is fetched live from Dynamics 365 on load and processed entirely in the browser.
How to Use it
  1. Open the OPT - Case Management Overview dashboard from the Dynamics 365 dashboard selector.
  2. The panel loads automatically and displays 5 KPIs (total cases, critical priority, overdue, average age, no activity), 4 interactive charts, executive insights, and a full searchable case table.
  3. Drill down: Click any chart segment or bar to filter the table to that group. A filter chip appears — click ✕ to clear it.
  4. Open a case: Double-click any row in the table to open that case record directly in Dynamics 365.
  5. Refresh: Click the Refresh button in the top-right corner to reload live data at any time.
  6. Export to PDF: Click Export PDF to open the browser print dialog. Select Save as PDF to generate a landscape A4 report with all cases expanded.
