User Story NameForecasts now available next to Goals in PACE and PABS
OverviewSales forecasting is now reachable directly from Optimus - PACE and Optimus - PABS. A new Performance section groups Goals and the new Forecasts entry together in the Home, Sales and Customer Service areas of both apps, so managers can review projected sales without leaving the app they work in every day. Administrators also get a Forecast configurations entry in the settings area, next to the existing Goals options, to set up forecast hierarchies and periods. Goals has moved from My Workspace into the new Performance section — its behavior, views and records are unchanged.
How to Use it
  1. Open Optimus - PACE or Optimus - PABS and switch to the Home, Sales or Customer Service area.
  2. In the navigation pane, find the new Performance section. Goals now lives here instead of under My Workspace.
  3. Select Forecasts to open the forecast grid and review projected sales for the current period.
  4. To set forecasting up, go to Operation Settings (PACE) or Operations Settings (PABS) > Goals Management > Forecast configurations.
  5. Create a forecast configuration by choosing the hierarchy, period and columns, then activate it. Once active, it becomes visible to your team under Forecasts.

Note: until a forecast configuration is created and activated, the Forecasts page will show an empty state — this is expected. Forecasting is a Dynamics 365 Sales capability; confirm it is included in your licensing before rolling it out.
